Hey Dad, just thought I'd tell you, Chris has a new pbase site with his pictures on. If you want to see them it's pbase.com/chrismcbride. Love, Georgia x

Hey dad, how's it going? I just thought I'd send you a message because, I'm sure you'll be delighted to hear, Chris and I have decided to waste £30 a month on Broadband. So I can now go on the Internet whenever. I've already downloaded Limewire, and got that ridiculous White Pony song. I love it! Chris has - quite predictably - started looking at porn at every opportunity, his favourite being the one with the squirting girls. Anyway, I'm sure this filth is not suitable for a respectable web-site like this, so I'll stop talking about it. I don't even know whether I've spelt 'opportunity' right - my spelling has gone right downhill recently, I can't believe it! I was doing a crossword the other day and I spelt 'colour' C-O-L-O-R! Dreadful.
Anyway, seeing as this is a photography website, I'd do well to say something about photography. Have you got any new ones on these days? If so, which bit are they in?
Chris's photography is coming along well. He took some of me in a car-park the other day to give mum for her birthday and, although I was in a FOUL mood and unable to smile, they turned out very nicely. Maybe one day he'll be as good at it as you. I doubt it though, because as far as I'm concerned you're the best photographer in the world.
Anyway, I'd better let Chris get back to his porn. See you later Dad, I love you. xxx

i've loved photography since i can remember, and just purchased my first camera. i get frustrated somtimes beceause i want to master the art so soon; and since looking at your site it fills me with inspiration to pursue my dreams in photography. one day i hope to capture the light as well as you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I absolutely love 'luckily he's on our side'. Looking at his face is like reading his life story - it says it all!
Guest 13-Apr-2005 19:37
the shine and detail of your photographs is incredible. everything you capture glows. i love the spider on the red blossom wearing the seductive see-through dress, and the pictures of the girls- so delicate!
gorgeous.

Many years ago I bought a camera and it changed my life. Through the lens I saw things that I must have seen many times before not being aware of it. I abandoned economy and spent eight years trying to understand ecology. Then digital cameras got less expensive and better. I started to take pictures again. After 10000 pictures I find that I am getting better technically, much better, but also more predictable and conventional. I cruised the net for inspiration only to realise that I am not the only one ending up in a corner. In your galleries however, I found some fresh thinking that adds to my inspiration.

hiya dad, i'm listening to one of the cds you sent- i really like them, they cheer me up! thank you for doing that for me. i went to see a friends gig on saturday but cos we were at the back of the queue it was full by the time it got to us and half our friends were already in- nightmare. to make matters worse the pigs came and confiscated all of our alcohol! then the fire alarms got set off and the gig got cancelled. am having some guy troubles right now and the cds really give me a lift. are the christmas photos almost ready? look forward to them! lots of love xxx

Hi Lou,
Its Alex here. I'm up at mum's and i'm so bored I'm spending all my time surfing the net. Just droppedin to see if you'd made any changes. it was lovely to hear from Georgia and to recieve the pictures (although only one came through in the end). Haven't heard from you in a while, hope everything ok! I just submitted 16,000 words on fairytales and modrenist literature. I tell you, the week before last was the hardest week of my life (i'd rather chew my testicles off than go through that again, lol). I've really been missing France and some nice weather, it hasn't stopped raining in Cornwall since I left you. Anyway, gotta go back and write another 16,000 words and then I'm a free man! Anyhow, if you get the time, then send me an email and tell me how you are. All the best to you and the girls. Alex -x-
Benny 04-Jan-2005 23:17
Hi Lou, its Ben (Alisons) just having a look at some of the pictures on pbase, thought i'd send you a message. Hope things are alright with you, hows the house in france coming along more floors put in. I had a really good time out there, nice to work on something like that. See pieces coming together, like the beam. Just in Australia at the moment, been seeing bits of the east coast. Quite exciting. Been spending most of the last month in the gold coast, managed to get a car for 120 pounds and it goes. Hoping to head to Nimbin and Byron Bay for a couple of months, its where all the hippies live.
I really like the pictures from your back garden, some great macro shots, didn't see the hornet shot, i might have missed it. Say hi to the family, take care of yourself Benny

Hi Lou,
I hope that alls well and that. I'm back up in Devon, so I don't have your personal e-mail. Just a short not to say Merry Christmas and a happy new year. I hope the trip to France was fruitful and that everythings going O.k with you.
Personally I'm snowed under (excuse the festive pun) with work. I've got 16,000 words to write by the end of January and then the same again for the end of June. I'll be glad when it's all over and I can return to the real world.
It would be really good to see you again. Maybe you could come down some time, or I could come and stay for a couple of days in London next summer. Anyway, give my love to Georgie, lol and lil. Take care of yourself old chap. Lots of Love, ALex xxx

Hi Lou, Sorry it's been a while for me to get in contact. I've been back at Uni for four weeks and it's already very stressful. I'm living in halls of residence on site and the whole deal feels like a youth detention centre. Anyhow, I had a great time in france and learnt alot from our time. I hope that your O.k, keep in touch! All the best Alex Charny x.

I was waiting for the bus tonight when an attractive young lady noticed i had been to the bookstore, she turned out to be George. When i told her it was a book on war photography she suggested i looked at your work and kindly wrote down the address. You have some really great images here and i have got a great deal of inspiration as i haved looked through them, you definatly have an eye for a great shot. I have just started uploading some pics to the net and hope i have a collection like this in time, if you have time i would appreciate any comments on my workhttp://www.usefilm.com/photographer/30552.html . P.S. Thanks to George for brightening up a normally dull wait for the bus :)
