San Jose Market - December 10-04

The meat market in San Jose. Here you better forget all you heard about sirloin, tenderloin or T-Bone Steaks. Meat is cut in bits and pieces and you just choose the best out of it. Meat is eaten boiled in a vegetable soup or grilled on small sate sticks.
Since I eat only boiled stuff like chicken or beef meat, sometimes lean fat pork meat, this does not disturbs me in any way.

San Jose NOT California? *confused*
Anyway...that looks like an awsome market.

This is interesting. Is the meat somehow refrigerated? Here in the states we are so concerned with meat going bad.

When I go to Singapore, I regularly eat exactly this, almost the whole time I'm there. They add some red chilis to it, some noodles and broth, rice balls ... a great meal, for about US$4.00. This is a great way to eat, but a lot of people have a hard time getting into it. Nice shot, thanks for sharing.
