Mobilux Trophy 2004 - WHGP Honda Baloon World-Cup Round in Echternach - Luxembourg

Baloon World Cup Round held on July 28 to August 01 2004

The WHGP Honda World Cup for Hot Air Baloons is held in 3 rounds.
One in Monroe - USA, the second is the Mobilux Trophy in Luxembourg and last is in Montegi - Japan.

All shots made with Nikon D70 and the standart 17-80 lens and a few with the Sigma 70-300 APO II Makro

Enjoy those pictures from the 2004 round in Luxembourg, day 2, Friday 28 July 2004, start at 7.30 at sunset.

This Gallery is for me a remembrance of a nice day in Luxembourg and for sure an event I expected and which was to meet after a long time my old friend Guy Moyano who was 1991 & 1992 World Campion and occupied 3d place in 1998, 2d place in 1988 & 1990 on Hot Air Airships which are directible Mini Zeppelins.

Guy is acting as the pilot of the Maglite Baloon one can see in this Gallery.

Great images from a great event. It's astonishing, but I have almost the same pictures. The guy with the sunglasses, in front of picture DSC_3553.jpg, that's me :)

On thursday I took 96 pictures and on friday 65. Then I have also a movie of some parts of the saturday night "NightGlow". It's about 30 minutes with great music, fireworks lights and off course, glowing balloons.

I hope they'll do it again in Echternach - Luxembourg next year.
