I never met Milt, but I have heard his name often from the PCT hikers that met him in Castle Crags. He was a campground host at the Crags, greeted every hiker as a friend, and cheered them as they hiked on. His name and legend has been told up and down the PCT as one to know and see when they get to the Crags. But everyone passes on, and Milt is now truly a Trail Angel. He is resting in Happy Camp now, and I wanted to share this with any hiker that knew him. If anyone has a photo of Milt to share, please let me know.
