Tree Climbing on the Shasta-Trinity NF

In my job for the USFS, I climb trees for scion, cones, seed, pollen, etc. It's part of my job. I work in genetics, and we work with superior growth and disease resistant conifers in northern California. This is a 150ft ponderosa pine, and if you look hard, you'll see a climber at the top collecting scion for grafting at my Happy Camp conifer clone bank orchard.
