A Bad Day on Ebay

A vintage Griswold #53 Egg Skillet that I bought on ebay for my collection arrived broken due to the seller's poor packing skills. A classic antique meets a tragic end due to the carelessness of the prior owner. The seller refunded my money, not knowing how brittle cast iron can be, and I found another Griz 53. Ebay good, Ebay bad! Ebay averages mostly good for me.

I am a welder and would consider buying that from you if you still have it. I want it for myself, not to re-sell.

That is a shame, that is why I am hesitant to buy some things on Ebay. If the seller cared about the cast iron, he would want to pack it good.

I have had that happen at least 3 times on Ebay with different cast iron products as well as description falling short of accurate.
