This shot is composed of sixteen photos stitched together. It's taken from the old mining road, which is also the old mid-1970s PCT, that descends to Cook and Green pass. I hiked this section on my first day on the PCT in 1976, 30 years ago at a youthful 21! The view is west, and the PCT descends the Devils ridgeline on the left to Seiad Valley. Unfortunately, unknown to me, the lens got dirty with suntan oil, or dog lick, which gives it some blur.
