Have you ever read the book Jorstad wrote? It is called "Beyond the wild river". He tells of the first year he and his wife came to this area and how they built the cabin. Very good reading.
Nice shot, all the the old cabins are slowly slipping away.. ( The whole CCC's thing seems to be forgotten by the public as these are great heritage pieces of Amercian outdoors in a " Much Better " time in Amercian History........"
