Mint condition Lowa Alpspitz boots made for mountaineering, climbing, crampons and extreme backpacking in the 1970s. I bought these 5-1/2 pound boots on ebay for my 2010 climb of Mt Rainier, and have broken them in with some local hikes. Built with full grain leather, triple stitched Norwegian boot welt, fine German craftsmanship, and freshly Sno-Sealed, they look and feel like new. A vintage Svea 123, and Chouinard-Frost wooden handled ice axe compliment these boots. The laminated bamboo handled Chouinards are really common place, but not the early wooden ones.
