A fragment of 1970 PCT history as seen in 2003

This six inch piece of wood is one of Eric Ryback's two tarp sticks seen in his 1971 book, The High Adventure of Eric Ryback, which documented his great 1970 PCT adventure. His campsite is in the Marble Mtns on Big Ridge, and in my backyard.
