Long - this image is striking - It really shows the state of our glaciers and their over all health. Granted 2015 was a super low snow year. A low snow year followed by an unusually warm summer, which lead to massive wasting. The Sloan glacier pictured covered most of that hillside not long ago. In fact it held more ice than all of the glaciers in California Oregon Idaho and Montana combined in 1965. Mick

Such majestic scenery, and a great capture of it. I like the gradation of color in the background peaks in particular.
