Every photo of this scene, more than any other in Rome, has me thinking of how the waiters at these cafes will have seen almost all the world's most important people - as well as, just perhaps, some of my friends, relatives and acquaintances?
Amazing the paving stones aren't worn away by now - you've caught them nicely!
