After one hour downriver navigation departing from Puerto Maldonado river port on a 45 footer motorized native canoe, Reserva Amazónica Tambopata complex was reached. Stands on the left bank of Madre de Dios river in the middle of a 40 acre private property in the amazonian rainforest. Has 34 confortable jungle wooden cabañas, no electricity, kerosene lamps illumination. The peacefulnes of the place and the remarkable services of the personnel, cooks, guides and managers, made a top quality oustanding stay. Higly recommended!
