People continues suggesting me to add Peruvian Cusine Restaurants and Bars to my photographic travel albums, indeed a good theme. My personal interest is not to present known places with a name, but to introduce you to new places not known to people visiting us or living in Lima, Nice old bars and restaurants that cooks very well, have a nice carte, have well priced dishes & drinks and should be promoted.
As a general information must say that Lima has been declared long time ago the best South American cusine, recently the best Peruvian chefs have received in Spain at the Madrid Fussion, awards for their inmovatine novoandine cusine dishes. The cuisine that legendary French chef and culinary writer Auguste Escoffier has called, one of the best in the world after only French and Chinese, a real gastronomic honor indeed.
Lima is an astonishing Gourmet City with esquisite and flavoury dishes, one of it's specialities is Pescados y Mariscos (Fish & Sea Food) here are some that would highly recommend.
