5 kilometers separtates San Juan de Iris from Marcahuasi de Iris, it's a gentle slope with a up and down wide path, you can walk the hour and a half or rent a saddled horse before departure with a day separation in advance, a very cheap 5 dollars, tip included, full day guided tour. Once on top 3,900 meters high, you can see to the right a small Machupichu like ruins with well conserved chulpas (square & round brick stone houses) and lot's of human & animal heads to the left.
