A Spanish stone fortress looking the Pacific Ocean, was built between the years 1747 to 1766 to defend the colony from pirates like Sir Francis Drake, Thomas Cavensish, George Spilberg, Jacques Clerk l'Hermite just to name some of the most famous. At the moment is the army site museum, guided visits are held daily 9 AM to 4 PM.
