Pay a little homage to the overwhleming generosity and vitality that I found while living in Rio. Most of these photos come from Chapeu Mangueira no morro do leme, some are from Duque de Caxias (Aparecida took me there) and some (night shots) are from Santa Cruz. Regardless of what you are told, do not fear the favela or the favelado, fear the ignorance that creates such divisions.
