...a long week's drive around Central Scotland, enjoying the views afforded by the lochs and castles, the cities, the cathedrals, abbeys and churches, the palaces... a contrast of picturesque countryside and urban centres, of fishing villages and cities...but always encountering friendly and courteous people, proud of their history and culture and happy to share their knowledge with visitors...we enjoyed these encounters, enjoyed the seafood and have promised ourselves that we would return...
