As a classic car enthusiast, I found it incredibly exciting to see the number of old American automobiles as well as a smattering of British models on the road and employed as taxis - what is really amazing is the resourcefulness of the local mechanics who must be wizards at putting together bits and pieces and cannibalized parts together to get at questionably roadworthy vehicles. Some may see them as standing jokes - but, they were nonetheless STANDING!!
