---EUROBASKET 2011 HOTELS IN LITHUANIA---



Before someone points out that the centered watermark takes away from the enjoyment of an image, I must say that I was forced to add watermarks after finding many of my photos on a Russian travel site - used without asking me, for commercial purposes and with their own copyright stamp!

So I guess something has to be sacrificed for the sake of not getting robbed again.

I am now in the process of researching my family's roots back to Lithuania. My family could possibly be from Kaunas. A fact I have yet to establish. My grandparents immigrated in 1910 to the U.S. My grandfather's name was Frank Taragouska and my grandmother was Mary Zirlus. Both were born in 1888. If anyone has any information, please e-mail me at mfoysfla@yahoo.com. The pictures of my ancestral home are positively breathtaking! I can't wait to visit.

Beautiful sights of Lithuania for sure, thanks for sharing. My family name of Abolit is from latvia, left 1891, when researched we found no abolit there at all, if you hear of our name please contact me at doabolit1@ns.sympatico.ca As you can see, I am still searching.

If you get a chance , you should visit Latvia and share your wonderful work on her as well.

Labai grazios ir reprezentatyvios fotografijos. Pats irgi panasu fotografijos stiliu propaguoju. Aisku, mano fotografija TIK megejiska. Skaitmenine fotografija uzsiimu tik truputi daugiau kaip metus, bet ir per metus laiko galima is Lietuvos gamtos, architekturos ir tradiciniu svenciu, pagauti daug superiniu akimirku! Reikia buti aktyviam, daug keliauti. Grizus is Baikalo apylinkiu, draugai rekomendavo daryt paroda... Tam dar ne laikas, bet labai noreciau isvysti gyvus darbus sios svetaines autoriaus Gedimino P! Gal kokia paroda zadate padaryti? Tai duokit zinoti.

Thanks Carlos. So far most of the images are from a digital Canon G3, with already a couple from my new EOS 20D. A few are scanned from 35 mm film.
Post-processing is quite limited - I am not too good at it yet:)
