Tree of Utah


The Tree of Utah is a huge piece of art created by Karl Momen. It stands on the salt flats along the northern side of I-80, 26 miles east of the Nevada-Utah border. On this flat-as-a-pancake landscape, drivers can see it for miles ahead. In 2006 a fence was erected around the base of the sculpture to prevent pen-in-hand idiots from leaving their marks thereon.
