The first time I saw Day Canyon was in 2004, when I drove past it on my way to Potash.
At that time I knew nothing about it---not even that it had a name. The first time I
paid attention to it was in April 2006, when I again drove by on my way to Potash. On
that drive I new it had a name and that it was worth exploring.
