Steve, thank you for your candid, informative input. It warms my heart that you found images of "redacted" satisfying. (Your use of that word forced me into "dictionary consultation" mode.) As for the hat, it is---if I may be blunt---atrocious! I would never slander my beloved relatives, no matter where they live, even if they were guilty of wearing such a [DELETED] piece of headgear.

Nice gallery, Dave. I really enjoyed viewing your images of (redacted). My relatives from (redacted) visited us recently in Alexandria. They were all wearing hats like this:

They said the hats were in honor of a gentleman from (redacted) who recently broke the land-based speed record in a blue Suburu wagon.

Your excellent photos bring back memories. About 45 years ago, Iwas 22, I spend the most miserable winter of my life in Renton. Winter job, Christmans tree harvest. God, can it ever rain there.
