I always carry camouflage clothing with me in case a huge bird spies me from high above and swoops down in an attempt to grab a free meal (me). This was one of those occasions in which the camouflage saved me; thus I am able to continue to post photos. (I deliberately did not try to photograph the creature for fear that sunlight would be reflected off of the camera's lens, alerting the huge bird to my presence. Photography in the "land that time forgot" is not without danger.)

Stunning shot, the subtle colors are beautiful, and that little cloudshadow wandering across the flats makes it really special.
