Attempting to achieve Oneness via a new path

Attempting to achieve Oneness via a new path

I often attempt to reach higher levels of consciousness by becoming one with the environment.
Up until now I have used only sandstone as my "gateway," as that is the most efficient route
to Understanding. But recently I tried a new medium (vegetation), as shown here.

The idea for this life change came from "The Sacred Paths to Oneness," a lengthy philosophical
treatise written by none other than His Holiness The Bhagwan Windbag of Antelope. On page 1348
he states that certain types of vegetation can be used as a pathway to Enlightenment. Inspired
by this revelation, I made it my mission to seek a higher plane through a fusion with flora.
Variety is the spice of life. Beginning on page 1522 of the same divine publication is a
detailed discussion of the benefits of cacti in the Journey to Nirvana; somehow I connected
with this concept, so I resolved to use those plants myself. No pain, no gain.

The photo shows me in significant contact with a cactus plant in an attempt to
reach a new plateau of Awareness. My Vibe Center must have been on vacation, as
repeated attempts to elevate my Psychic Abundance in this manner produced only
a Thousand Points of Discomfort. Life is a journey. I have much to learn.

My photographic assistant, Joe Tripod, achieves Oneness through steady support of my camera. He has it easy.

Larry, is that good or bad for Mankind?

You're defininately one of a kind, Dave.

Tried that once too but failed. Discovered oneness with flora was much better achieved with a bottle of tequila.

John, the Bhagwan discusses kinkiness in chapter 85. The footnotes are daringly informative.

This fusion with Flora stuff sounds interesting. Kinky, maybe.

I agree with you on the mouth. Most often, Understanding can come only when the mouth is closed and the mind is open. Just the opposite of politics.
Dave Beedon 20-Apr-2007 17:47
Steve, I had the same thoughts at first, but the Bagwhan assured me---and all his disciples---that there is a notable distinction between the "peyote experience" and the "Holy Vegetation Pathway." The mouth is not an appropriate avenue to Understanding.

Dave, you may have misinterpreted the Windbag. The cactus path is an old way--it's called peyote. Has nothing to do with the mortification of the flesh by becoming one with the spines. Go find the nearest Yaqi sorcerer for instructions.

Do you mean the famous "Wind-Bagwhan" of Moab Dave?
1moremile 17-Apr-2007 21:12
This isn't the only place you can lie down. You could move a few feet to the right or left.

Lee, I know it appears that I am patting the vegetation, but in fact I was gripping it with determination. I do not take this stuff lightly: the pay-off is worth an all-out effort.

Dave, the squat n' pat method you show here is risky. One stiff rear wind and you'll meet a thousand points of pain and public humiliation .

Glad Joe Tripod achieved Oneness. Does that make him a monopod?
