Sock Boy dries his socks on a bush

Negro Bill Canyon (near Moab, Utah) view map

I am sitting on rock that is about four feet (1.3m) above the stream.
Flood debris at bottom right is evidence of recent high water.

Joe Tripod was in support mode when this was picture taken and
soon went on special assignment in the same spot.

Larry, the reference work you consulted sounds appropriate. The life of a surfer is challenging.

Lee's comments were so dang complicated that I had to consult my cliff notes.

Too late, Pbase members are already aware of your filthy flora killing habits. Expect picketers on your front lawn weilding whips and a pipe wrench or two and probably a blowtorch. They will be hungry and wanting a proper supper with beverages before the reconing begins soyou might want have a nice buffet ready! I would come to your aid if I didn't have to go shopping with my wife. She wants to return all the cool stuff I bought her for Christmas. Happy New Year Dave.

Lee, I appreciate the suggestion about the "purse," but that bright blue tone would have clashed with the ensemble, ruining the overall effect. Can you keep a secret?---my socks killed the bush.

Something's afoot here Dave. That must be stink weed you have youe socks resting on. Thanks for baring your sole to the world. That's all I can come up with.
Nice blue purse. You should have had that when doing this..http://www.pbase.com/listorama/image/71997638
