From part-way up the access road to Blue Castle Canyon one has this lovely view. From left to right, the features are Battleship Butte, a partially-obscured valley (The Cove), an unnamed valley, a pyramid-shaped peak just right of center (Blue Castle Butte), Blue Castle Canyon, and unnamed components of Book Cliffs. Behind this landscape is US Highway 6.

This is as far as I went this day, as I was merely checking the access route. Two years to the day after taking this picture I hiked up Blue Castle Canyon.
