Tetzlaff Peak from the Bonneville Speedway access road

Bonneville Salt Flats (Wendover, Utah)

This was taken at the end of the asphalt road that leads to the salt flats. About 100 feet
(31m) to the right, one can drive from asphalt onto salt without a halt or a fault. Tetzlaff
Peak, a mountain that captured my imagination in 2002, calls to me repeatedly. Reaching its
summit is only a dream, as my fear of heights prevents my ascending the final "pitch,"
but scrambling to the summit ridge via a new route was fun.

From the broad gully below and to the right of the summit, the
view is so: http://www.pbase.com/listorama/image/71972948 .

Lee---my car is coated with plusgravity paint to keep all four tires gripping Planet Earth at all times.
Larry---Joe does not drive my car, but sometimes his level-headedness drives me to distraction. The rear-mounted bike rack found a new owner at a swap meet last year.

My eyes are not what they used to be but is that really Joe Tripod driving? I won't tell anyone. He's usually pretty level headed.
I see you took your own advice from almost exactly a year earlier and didn't mount the bike on the back door.

I am surprised you were able to keep all four wheels on the ground with the well known high speed capabilities of the Subaru Wagon with the optional Roof Mount Air Spoiler attached.
Great view!
