Obligatory trailhead photo

Wolfe Ranch (Arches National Park)

From the Wolfe Ranch parking lot I walked up the park road in the direction of the Delicate Arch Viewpoint. Soon I passed Salt Creek, then reached a drainage named Winter Camp Wash. There I left the asphalt behind and walked up the mostly dry streambed.

This shot at Wolfe Ranch was made possible by my
personal photographic assistant, Joe Tripod.

Don't praise Joe too loudly; he will hear and get a big ballhead.

God bless Joe. He does a wonderful job of documenting these trips. Nice shot, Joe.
