Looking about southeast. Pyramid Butte is the long red ridge in the middle distance.
Above and to the left of it is a dark horizontal shadow cast by a plateau; that plateau
is Hatch Point. At far right is the Colorado River. Numerous canyons cut into the
plateau to the right of Shafer Trail. About where Shafer Trail crosses the stream
channel at left is a fence and gate. The view from there to here looks like this:
