These rock steps were the first of several that I encountered. The tall one with
the big shadow is about three feet tall. These ledges formed a band around the
upper part of a U-shaped ravine. Behind me is a drop-off of about fifteen feet
that paralleled the steps. I had to traverse around the ravine to find a place
where it was possible to descend through the drop-off.
