Waiting for the light on a wet night

Renton, Washington view map

Looking east down South Third Street in downtown. On the left is a curtain/drapery store. On the right is a bank that is a bit of an architectural irony. It won an award for some aspect of its design (the interior?), but the way it treats people on the Third Street sidewalk is positively insulting: almost a blank wall, frosted windows, and no door.

Great, sounds like a good subject to share with your fellow surfers.

The tattoo on my right arm says "Born to clone (out)".

By the way, Dave, I think you'd have even more nice shots like this one if you refrained from cloning out the rain from your other shots of Renton. Just let Renton be Renton if it be at all (wink, wink...).

Dave, it's a bank--it insults people by its nature.

Cool shot, Dave. I love the rain.
