Blue sponge

Every now and then you see a photo with the deepest blue sky you ever saw and you
wonder how the photographer captured such a rich color. It wasn't the photographer.
It wasn't the camera. It wasn't the photo-editing software.

No, those deep blue skies are possible because PBase has a Blue Chromatic Accumulator,
commonly called a "blue sponge." This is a device that soaks up blue colors in the
atmosphere, amplifies and stores them, and periodically releases them to PBase
headquarters, where they are incorporated into the photos that amaze you. This is
not to denigrate the efforts of photographers worldwide, but PBase knows that happy
customers are long-term customers, and one way to keep them happy is to "enhance"
their landscape shots with extra blue coloring. The technology that accomplishes
this is, of course, a closely-guarded secret, and calls for no mention of the
location of this device. NOTE: In spite of what Perry Como sang about years ago,
the bluest skies are NOT in Seattle, and this device is far from that city.

It will be nice when they get round to doing mine. So far the blue has not travelled very well, and I am not moving closer.

Pbase engineers have learned that by installing a standard aquamarine ethernet connection to the base of a standard toilet, the water in the tank remains blue as long as the user is viewing a Pbase forum sticky . They haven't gone public with the news because they have yet to flush all of the problems

Funny very funny, and I thought it was my camera.

LOL...
When a polarizer just isn't enough... the Blue Sponge must be used:

Dave, would you put in a plug for me with Pbase ? I must be far down on their blue-enhancement list since so many of my skies come out white. I know you must have some pull with them given all the unstinting love you show them in your Pbase galleries.

"I'm blue over no-blue...."

that dont do anything in an already nicely worked photograph .and for sure it wont do anything in an unprosed image .
