Back in the early days of image-hosting, many field installations were built in this manner. It
became known as the "bare bones" style. Simple but cute, this office is located in the Book Cliffs
of Utah. It was set up to serve data miners (the largest labor component in this area). Those rugged
individualists were used to working long hours in spartan environments, and PBase echoed that
philosophy with facilities such as this. Industrial accidents were a way of life, as shown
here. This office was abandoned after a mining machine crashed into the wall, distorting
all images being served through this node. This site will probably not be reactivated.
