Magnetic personality?

St. Edward State Park in Kirkland, Washington

During a photo trip at St. Edward Park, Kris Frederick photographed me walking down a trail. The ethereal mood and blurry image of me were created by a sudden and prolonged magnetic disturbance emanating from nearby Lake Washington. (I know this because I had my unexplained phenomenon detection equipment [UPDE] with me, as always.)

Production details: Tri-X film; Pentax Super Program on manual exposure; 28mm Pentax-A lens; 8 seconds at F-22. Negative scanned with a Nikon CoolScan. .

Larry, I do try to be prepared, and this photo certainly gives that impression. However, I have a confession to make: although the UPDE revealed the problem of magnetism, my forgetting to put fresh batteries in it resulted in readings that were not conclusive. Thus the magnetism might not have emanated from Lake Washington. I'm trusting you to keep this to yourself.
