The Green Weenie sits in a gravel turn-out close to the Idaho-Utah border just south of not-quite-world-famous Strevell, Idaho. This is 18.5 miles (30km) west of where I-15 crosses the same border. Strevell is merely a site: nothing is there. Seven years earlier I was here with BLU WGN (my Subaru station wagon) and took the same picture. The Subaru shot has interesting information about a geographic hoax that I discovered when I took this picture.

The metal sign posts are attached to the concrete base with break-away bolts.
