Two Union Pacific eastbounds (one is all wet)

Between Ellerbeck and Burmester, Utah view map

I lied---there is only one train (DUH!). This is very close to the I-80 exit for SR 138, Morton Salt, and Stansbury Island. In the background: the Oquirrh Mountains. There is a second lie to this photo: I cloned out some distracting stuff in the lower left corner.

The haze makes it seem as if they're both suspended in a pale blue void. Beautiful shot.
Are the eastbound trains shorter?

One is defying gravity. Nice shot--particularly like the soft blue mountains in the background.
