Castle Valley (introduction)

Castle Valley lies northeast of Moab, easily reached from Utah Highway 128. Its west side is
flanked by the long, magnificent cliff of Porcupine Rim. Castle Valley Road, the road in the
valley, was my starting point for a hike into Ida Gulch.
