September 28: Thank you Thomas and Seetharaman, thank you Andrew, Julie and Scott...

Studio City, CA

I've been warned: commiting to Photoshop is the time equivalent to commiting to marriage, yet still I took the plunge. The 30-day free trial gives me a chance to mess around with it before I make the pledge with my credit card... Wish me luck!

cheating cheating :))
to use this monitor shot as an easy alternative to photo a day.. not allowed.. hehe.. lol :)
Ok jokes apart.. you will make a sound choice by going in for CS2... the highlight - shadows and the smart sharpen features in itself are awesome enough to take "work" out of adjusting brightness levels of under and over images so common with digitalcameras...
cheers and best wishes

Hey Lisa read this. I am not sure if you already know about this but if your 350D didn't come with the upgrade offer then here is the link to purchase the FULL RETAIL BOX version of CS2 with a Canon customer discount dropping the price from 599 to $299. http://store.adobe.com/store/products/master.jhtml?id=catCanon You just enter the serial number of the Elements 2.0 disk that was included with your camera's software. Worked fine for me today.

You'll love it...it opens up a whole new level of creativity. Your husband is prepared to lose you to PS now thout right? :)

Good Luck With it! I tried to take the plunge (booked a place on a PS course at a local college) but a couple of day's before the course was due to begin it was cancelled due to a lack of applicants! :(

A bit of self teaching going on at the minute until I can find another course!

I wish you all the luck but bear in mind that you have to spend many hours sitting on the chair. If you need help knock my door and I will give it to you pleasantly .
