Hi Romy ive just bought my 2nd cannon dslr the first was a 300d and now ive got a 350d im a retired wedding photographer (won a fuji distinction bought a s3 then got fed up) and now desperately want to take great wildlife pics, so im selling all my excess gear for a good lens your blog has made my mind up for me 100-400 is is the one for me i was doing wildlife with a fuji s3 but using cheap 300mm glass slow focusing 1.5 frps and a jessop 2x converter was driving me mad so im saving hard for the 100-400is thanx Wayne

Honestly, i used to be a bird hunter but now i didn't shoot bird anymore w/ my rifle but i tend to let them live in d wild. i want my little kids to see them in the future. So now im a pro conservationist in my own way & now am shooting with my EOS cameras. more power to Romy. goodluck

I fell in love with the excellent photos you've managed to take and share to everyone.It makes me proud that our country boasts of georgeous birds that can rival those from other countries of the world. I just bought my first digital camera.Although not as hi-tech like the one you are using, but it's a good start for a neophyte like me. You have inspired me to capture the beauty of nature!!! Thanks and more power to you!!!!
