This beauty was in the shade in Mt. Makiling, and I decided to expose the bird properly at the expense of blowing some of the leaves in the upper right corner. The pose, detail and colors allowed this capture to be included in this elite list. I used MLU to minimize camera shake at 1600 mm and 1/10 sec, and the subject thankfully cooperated by not moving a feather....:)
