Hi Romy,

Ok the pics are of the same individual! You are right I think! I was confused by the dark terminal band which is not shown in the pictures of the kennedy guide but is in the description of Philippine Hawk-Eagle! The first pic doesn't show any black mask, so that does exclude Rufous-bellied.

This pic and the preceding one are of the same individual, and we think it's an immature Philippine Hawk-Eagle.

Hi Romy,

This looks like an immature Rufous-bellied Eagle to me. Wow Amazing pictures Again!!
The determination is based on the black mask and dark flack patch.
