Right after I got the 7D test unit from Canon late afternoon of Sept. 10th, I immediately went to nearby Coastal Lagoon (Manila Bay) for some practice shooting.
This is to familiarize myself with the new camera's controls. This gallery contains practice shots from that sortie, as well as shots taken in my backyard just before I returned the camera on Sept. 13th.

Habitat: Coastal areas to open country, but seldom in forest

 JUST ANOTHER DAY AT THEIR OFFICE. While I worry about important things in life like sensor noise, AF speed and dynamic range of the 7D, this pair of scavengers walk home from another day at their office, with their collection of recyclables. During typhoon season, such mounds of garbage are a familiar sight at Metro Manila's beach fronts.
