First Philippine Birdfest

The Wild Bird Club of the Philippines (WBCP) organized and held the first ever Philippine Bird Festival at Quezon City, Philippines yesterday (November 18, 2005). The festival, with attendance exceeding expectations, was a resounding success. Kudos to the officers and members of the WBCP for bringing birds and birding to the mainstream consciousness of Filipinos.

I'm proud to be a member of the WBCP.
