1400 mm Field Test (August 17, 2004)

Fatbirder's Top 1000 Birding Websites

My field test of the Bigma + stacked TCs continues at the Tambo mudflats. I had to use high ISOs (800 or 1600) because of the rainy weather. The 300D doesn't recognize the 1.4x TC so the EXIF data shows only 1000 mm, instead of the correct 1400 mm. Likewise, aperture data is not properly reported. All shots were taken at an effective f/26 (except IMG_9582, f/23 effective), cropped and post-processed.
