My Mom has a flock of about 20 or 30 birds in a couple of trees on the back of her yard( about an acre bac), they look just like Robins but they're about twice the size. Usually up here in Central Maine , Robins aren't back yet; not to mention their size. What do you think?

I have about 15-20 of these robins in a pine tree in my backyard in Central NJ right now!

I had this one allll wrong! Because it's chest has orange undertones, I thought it was a species from the Oriole family, but I can clearly see now that it's an American Robin. And yes, this bird is extremely territorial! They built a nest on my neighbors porch, right next to the front door, and now there's one on his back porch...poor guy.

We've got one of these in the tree outside our front door, and it's obnoxiously territorial! It practically dive-bombed my husband when he got home from work.

Nice bird. I think this bird has built a nest in front of our front door. We use back door most of the time so we don't disturb it.....what kind of bird feed do this bird it.

thanks for posting pictures. I don't have much of bird knowledge but I saw this one in my backyard and searched internet to find out what kind of bird it is. Since last winter, my family has been putting out bird feeds about 15 feet away from our kitchen window and it has been an Joy for us. I'm so glad to see so many birds and with your pictures, I was able to identify and got to known the names of myterious birds I see. I appreciate that you share your nice shot of birds! Take care, Waldorf, MD
