I grew up around Stock Car Racing back in the 1950's. Every weekend I was at Bowling Green Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Susquehanna Speedway or Williams Grove Speedway. I had a love for speed. And, still do. My life sort of steered me away from attending car races but more recently I enjoyed attending the IndyCar Grand Prix in Baltimore, MD. Photographing race cars at 150+ mph is a lot easier today than trying to photograph them back in 50's with a Kodak Brownie camera. However, the layout in Baltimore was not conducive to getting any real action photos for the majority in attendance.
