Since Christmas, I have been communicating with a lovely lady who I only met through PBASE. Although I have never met this woman, we have been in regular contact and I think of her as a friend. I hear from her this morning that she lost her daughter on Monday.
As a childless woman I can't even imagine what it is like to be a mother. There will be many out there who know exactly the pleasure and pain of motherhood but thankfully few know what it is like to lose your own child.
For my friend I post this rose photo, taken yesterday in Wisley, England. I hope it brings a tiny crumb of comfort to a family who now know this terrible pain that no-one should ever have to endure.
Be strong and brave. Love your daughter's memory and take good care of one another.
