22nd December 2004 - 22nd day of advent - all I want for Christmas....

….is you!

I got home after a meeting in Central London, followed by a late lunch (starting at nearly 4pm) and DM was out. It’s so strange coming into the house when he’s not here – I don’t have to do that very often.

He’d been to his folks house to deliver the last Christmas pressies that came in the post today for his nephews and had stayed for a cuppa so he got here after I did.

When he came in, he was in ebullient mood and got his geeeettttaaaarrrr out to show off his skills playing Strokes songs. I was laid out on the floor with Archie and thought to myself, what more could I want – Archie on his back with his tummy in the air, Rosie running round ‘singing’ and David.

So, here he is – my Christmas wish. What more could I want? Nothing actually – this is it. The thing that costs nothing and everything all at once - love.

Your own personal serenader. What more can you ask for. Great portrait and I like the angle. Makes him look like he's on stage.
