My day is a day of two halves - the good stuff - walking the dogs and posting galleries on PBASE - Rain and Walkin the dogs. David and I woke up to no bread - our wonderful bread making machine bit the dust yesterday, no tea (milk sour) and no juice (empty fridge). I had to get dressed and go to the shop before we could have breakfast. When I got back, Archie somehow got the impression that we were going for a w---! He was so excited we felt we couldn't refuse - especially after we'd been out yesterday without him and Rosie. Ah well, a new bread machine is now winging its way from Argos and Sainsbury is now richer and I'm poorer after an on-line shop!
All this is really just me hiding from that which I know I must do......my tax return!
I hate doing them - even though once I start they're not usually too difficult - this year will be harder because of a complication late last year. Oh how I feel miserable, but I have to do it or I will get fined. I know technically I have another month but time in my life goes by so fast I only have to blink to find it's three months later so I know if I leave it I'll end up scrabbling round at the last moment looking for all of the relevant information.
Actually, just thinking about the passage of time, this diary has helped me to look back on this year and realise I have done a few interesting and worthwhile things.
